Chris Anderson, DC, MCS-P

is a Certified Medical Compliance Specialist. Dr. Anderson provides medical record audits, on-site consulting, and online courses for health care providers.  He serves as a consultant for the WCA Help Desk. He also co-writes books and articles for trade journals and has been the featured presenter for many state associations and other organizations across the country.

Tim Bertelsman DC, CCSP, DACO

graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic and has been practicing in Belleville, IL since 1992. He is a board-certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and a Diplomate of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists. Dr. Bertelsman has lectured nationally on various clinical and business topics and has been published extensively. He has served in several leadership positions within the Illinois Chiropractic Society and currently serves as President of the executive board.

John Campione, DC, CSCS, CFSC, CAFS

is a Board Certified Chiropractic Physician. He is a graduate of the National University of Health Sciences receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2010. John received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the West Virginia University School of Medicine.

John specializes in physical rehabilitation being board certified in Physiotherapy in the state of Illinois using a blend of chiropractic manipulative therapy, soft tissue manipulation and corrective exercises to treat ailments of the human neuro-musculo-skeletel system. He holds post¬graduate certifications in acupuncture, strength and conditioning with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, corrective exercise with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Functional Movement Systems, Neurokinetic Therapy, Active Release Technique, and kettlebell training with the World Kettlebell Club.

Manuel Duarte DABCO, DCBSP, CSCS, MSAC, MS

is a tenured professor at the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. Dr. Duarte served as a clinician in the Lombard clinic director Chair of Clinical Practice overseeing the Chiropractic, Naturopathic and Oriental Medicine programs in National’s seven clinics and intern development supervisor. Dr. Duarte has been in private practice for 31 years and is the former owner and director of Body Fitness Physical Medicine and Sports Injury Clinic in Shorewood, Illinois.

Dr. Duarte has extensive training in orthopedics, sports injuries and acupuncture. He holds a diplomate status from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists and the American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncturists. Dr. Duarte is a well-known lecturer and author, both nationally and internationally, teaching classes in the Chiropractic Certification Program of Sports, the Sports Diplomate Program, the Orthopedic Diplomate Program, low back stabilization programs and acupuncture certification.

Steven J. Gould, DC, DACBR

is a Board-Certified Chiropractic Radiologist who became a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology (DACBR) in 1993. He has a full-time radiology and clinical/patient practice where he performs interpretations on plain film radiographs and MRIs for referring chiropractors. In his clinical practice, he has provided chiropractic care to the Wichita Wranglers professional baseball team and the Wichita Thunder hockey team.

Dr. Steven Gould’s extensive expertise and interactive style provides doctors with a dynamic risk management seminar. His motivating presentations cover a wide variety of popular topics, including imaging, that impart doctors with an ideal blend of clinical and practical knowledge.

Brenda Holland, DC, DICCP

is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. Since graduation, she has served on chiropractic and community boards and committees. Dr. Holland has been actively teaching courses including anatomy, x-ray positioning, nutrition and therapy modalities. She has an advanced degree in pediatrics and pregnancy and is currently in active practice in Germantown, Wisconsin.

Jordan Knowlton-Key, DC, MS

completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2017 and obtained his Masters of Exercise Science from Concordia University, St. Paul in April 2019. After graduating from the doctorate program, Dr. Jordan completed a two-year Chiropractic Sports Fellowship at Northwestern Health Sciences University, where he has gained experience in advance care for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions throughout the body, rehabilitation, and athletic event medical coverage. Dr. Jordan has completed extensive continuing education on the assessment, treatment, and return to academics/activities following concussions and other head injuries. In addition to instructing students at Northwestern Health Sciences University on head injuries, he instructs several other courses on the doctorate level.

Dennis Marchiori, DC, PhD

became chancellor of Palmer College of Chiropractic in December 2009. He graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College in 1990 and went on to earn his M.S. degree in anatomy at Palmer in 1992. In 1995, he completed a three-year residency in radiology at Palmer College leading to diplomate status with the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology. Dr. Marchiori received his doctorate in policy, planning and leadership from the University of Iowa in 2005.

Chad Oler, ND

received his Doctorate in Naturopathy from the University of Natural Medicine in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with a background in chemical engineering and geochemistry. He is the founder of the Natural Path Health Center, an integrated complementary health care facility that uses the scientific application of natural healing methods to help people achieve optimal health and performance. In addition to clinical work with clients, Dr. Oler is a dynamic and informative speaker. He teaches extensively to medical professionals and the public alike on way to incorporate the scientific application for natural healing methods into their lives or practices.

Jeffrey Sergent, DC, CCSP

is a graduate of National University of Health Sciences. He is a certified Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization Exercise Trainer (DNS-EXT) and Certified Kinesiology Tape Practitioner (CKTP). He treats a variety of athletes from weekday warriors to professional sports players. His practice in Cedarburg, WI integrates manual therapy, Chiropractic and rehab, and attracts CrossFit athletes from all over the world. As a speaker for Midwest Rehabilitation institute, Dr. Sergent lectures for doctors, CrossFit gyms, personal trainers and massage therapists on bridging the gap between rehab and performance.

Wendy Varish, DC, DACO, MCS-P, CCSP

teaches Chiropractic Technician and Chiropractic Radiological Technician certification courses in physiological therapeutics and in radiology. She is also an instructor for continuing education courses for DCs, CTs and CRTs with topics ranging from physiological therapeutics, anatomy, radiology, nutrition and clinical issues. Dr. Wendy Varish has special interests in family care, sports injuries, work injuries, nutrition, and pediatrics. She uses a variety of techniques specific for the patient, including Diversified (hands-on), Gonstead, Activator, and Thompson. Dr. Wendy Varish practices at Howards Grove Chiropractic.
