Chris Anderson, DC, MCS-P
Dr. Christopher Anderson is a Certified Medical Compliance Specialist. Dr. Anderson provides medical record audits, on-site consulting, and online courses for health care providers. He serves as a consultant for the WCA Help Desk. He also co-writes books and articles for trade journals and has been the featured presenter for many state associations and other organizations across the country.
James Demetrious, DC, FACO is a nationally distinguished chiropractic orthopedist, educator, author and editor. He has published many peer-reviewed journal papers related to advanced differential diagnosis. He currently serves as an editor on behalf of the Journal of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists. He is an editorial reviewer on behalf of the journals Spine, Annals of Internal Medicine and Clinical Anatomy. Dr. Demetrious is a member of the NCMIC Speakers’ Bureau and provides postgraduate coursework throughout the United States. He has continually cared for patients over the past 31 years.
Marc E. Funderlich Jr, DC corrects brain and immune system dysfunction in adults and children by focusing on brain development and restoration. The owner of an integrative medical practice combining allopathic and chiropractic based therapies ranging from Medical Marijuana to Stem cells, he currently sees patients in Florham Park, New Jersey. Dr. Funderlich is a Pediatric specialist, teaching best practices for children with neurologic and immunologic disorders to other doctors internationally, and is scheduled to speak at the 12th International Congress on Autoimmunity in Athens, Greece in 2021.
Dr. Funderlich is a Certified concussion specialist with special interest in Brain mapping in Neurosurgery and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy “NJHBOT.” He is Board Eligible: Functional Neurologist and Childhood Developmental Disorder Fellow.
Kurt A. Juergens, DC, CCSP has been in practice since 1989 and specializes in the treatment and rehabilitation of sports related injuries.
In 1992, Dr. Juergens was selected to be a member of the United States Olympic Track and Field Trials Sports Medicine team. He has also served on the sports medicine teams for the ATP’s Tennis Masters Cup and U.S. Clay Court Championships. He has been featured as a medical expert in the Discovery Channel’s One Step Beyond Production, and he currently sits on the Board of Regents of Texas Chiropractic College, from which he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Juergens also lectures nationally for Foot Levelers, Inc., and he serves as the Medical Director for MetroNational Corporation in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Juergens is a passionate speaker. He engages his audience with his dynamic and interactive lecture style. He draws on his 28 years of private practice and extensive sports medicine experiences to deliver useful information that the doctor will embrace and want to incorporate Monday morning!
Donald R. Murphy, DC, FRCC is a chiropractic physician with over 30 years of experience in practicing, teaching and consulting.
Dr. Murphy is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Therapy, University of Pittsburgh. His other faculty appointments include Professor, Part-Time University Faculty at Southern California University of Health Sciences and Adjunct Associate Professor of Research at New York Chiropractic College.
Dr. Murphy has been admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors in the United Kingdom. He has also served on the Expert Panel for several spine care guidelines, including those of the American College of Environmental and Occupational Medicine, American College of Physicians and American Pain Society.
Dr. Murphy has nearly 100 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and book chapters. He teaches in the certification course for Primary Spine Practitioners offered by the University of Pittsburgh.
His recent books, Clinical Reasoning in Spine Pain, Volume I and Volume II serve as the required texts for that course for Primary Spine Practitioners offered by the University of Pittsburgh. Chad Oler, ND received his Doctorate in Naturopathy from the University of Natural Medicine in Santa Fe, NM. He is the founder of the Natural Path Health Center, an integrated complementary health care facility.In addition to clinical work with clients, Dr. Oler teaches extensively to medical professionals and the public, on ways to incorporate the scientific application of natural healing methods into their lives or practices.
Robert G. Silverman, DC, DACBN, DCBCN, MS, CCN, CNS, CSCS, CIISN, CKTP, CES, HKC, FAKTR is a chiropractic doctor, clinical nutritionist, international speaker and author of, “Inside-Out Health: A Revolutionary Approach to Your Body,” an Amazon No. 1 bestseller in 2016. The ACA Sports Council named Dr. Silverman “Sports Chiropractor of the Year” in 2015. His extensive list of educational accomplishments includes six different degrees in clinical nutrition. Dr. Silverman also maintains a busy private practice as founder of Westchester Integrative Health Center, which specializes in the treatment of joint pain using functional nutrition along with cutting-edge, science-based, nonsurgical approaches.
Dr. Silverman is on the advisory board for the Functional Medicine University, the advisory board for Metagenics and is a seasoned health and wellness expert on both the speaking circuits and within the media, as well as a frequent health expert contributor on national blogs such as Consumer Health Digest. He was invited as a guest speaker on “Talks at Google” to discuss his current book. As a frequent published author in peer-reviewed journals and other mainstream publications, including Integrative Practitioner, MindBodyGreen, Muscle and Fitness, The Original Internist and Holistic Primary Care journals, Dr. Silverman is a thought leader in his field and practice.
Brandon Steele DC, FACO
Dr. Steele began his career with a post graduate residency at The Central Institute for Human Performance under Dr. Clayton Skaggs. During this unique opportunity he was able create/implement rehabilitation programs for members of the St. Louis Cardinals, Blues, and Rams. Dr. Steele also had the distinction of working with keynote speakers and researchers in the field of manual medicine including Pavel Kolar, Stuart McGill, Brett Winchester, and Clayton Skaggs.
Dr. Steele has since begun private practice at Premier Rehab in the greater St. Louis area. He currently lectures for the Illinois Chiropractic Society on clinical excellence and evidence based treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. He also serves on the executive board of the ICS as the southern district president. He has been certified in Motion Palpation, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Active Release Technique, and McKenzie Directional Therapy.

Wendy Varish, DC, FACO, CCSP, CCOHC, MCS-P is a graduate of the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. She has served on numerous committees for chiropractic- related issues and has created and presented a variety of educational courses and training workshops for DCs and their staff. Dr. Varish is currently in professional practice in Howards Grove.
