Our patients are participating in a multitude of workouts. Due to these workouts they may be experiencing injuries or an exacerbation of in- juries. Understanding these common exercises is important for both our treatments and for
ensuring positive patient outcomes. We will go through common exercises in this two-part series with live demonstrations to evaluate and display these movements. This class is designed for health care professionals who want a more in-depth understanding of bootcamps, HIIT, CrossFit and DIY workouts. We’ll go through a variety of popular exercises, including pull up, deadlift, snatch, clean, burpee, bench press, medicine ball movements, kettle bells, squat variations and battle ropes, discuss some common injuries, and demonstrate appropriate adaptations that can help with reha- bilitation and recovery.
Attendees will have the opportunity to share case studies and request further demonstrations based on their own experience in clinic. Wear comfortable clothing to allow for movement and exercise.
