CT CERTIFICATION COURSE - 12 Hours

This class will provide students with an overall (10% off Early Bird) l understanding of chiropractic and basic anatomy, while providing the necessary training to satisfy the State of Wisconsin licensing requirements for certification as a Chiropractic Technician. Topics covered include - Chiropractic scope of practice - Basic musculoskeletal anatomy - The basis of current physiological therapeutics utilized within an office setting including indications and contraindications - Skills associated with obtaining patient history and baseline data regarding a patient - Skills associated with obtaining vital signs. A final assessment is given at the end of the course. *Attendees should bring the following if they have them available: Patient Intake Form, History/Exam Form, Daily Note Form, Update Form, Blood pressure cuff, Stethoscope*
CT MODALITY TRAINING - 11 Hours

12pm-1pm: CT Thermotherapy-Cryotherapy 1CE CT
Sat Feb 9
8am-11am: CT Electrotherapy 3 CE CT
11am-2pm: CT Ultrasound 3 CE CT
2pm-6pm: CT Mechanical Therapy 4 CE CT
Chiropractic Technicians are required to take the specific modalities they plan to perform in the office, but are encouraged to complete all modules in order to better understand the full scope of CT Delegation. Each Session will consist of a review of the therapy--see topics below-- followed by complete instruction in the performance of the given therapy along with hands-on practice.
Prior to registering for CT Modality Training, you must be enrolled in the Chiropractic Technician Certification Course, or be a previously licensed CT.
*Prerequisite: Completion of 12-hour Chiropractic Technician Certification Course OR prior CT Licensure.
Dr. Brenda Holland, DC, DICCP is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. Since graduation, she has served on numerous chiropractic and community boards and committees. Dr. Holland has been actively teaching courses including anatomy, x-ray positioning, nutrition & therapy modalities. She has an advanced degree in pediatrics and pregnancy and is currently in active practice in Germantown.

Early Bird Rate is valid when you register 10 or more days before the class date. Payment is due upon registering.
Pre-Registration is recommended for all of our classes and conventions. You may register onsite if space is available. If you plan to register onsite, be sure to check the online CE Calendar first for the most up-to-date information.
CANCELLATIONS / REFUNDS
You may cancel your registration or transfer to a different class without penalty until 10 days before the event. From 2-9 days before an event, cancellations or transfers will incur a $20 administrative fee. NO refunds or changes less than 24 hours before the event starts. For multi-day events, this policy is in effect from day 1 of the event.
FOR THOSE RECEIVING FREE CE (Students, New DCs) there is no fee to cancel 10 days before the event. Cancellations or changes 2-9 days before an event will incur a $20 administrative fee. There is a $50 fee for cancellations the day before or the day of an event, and for no-shows.
