Takes place at WCA Spring Convention.
This 10-hour postgraduate education course employs active learning strategies. This active learning approach to instruction permits students to engage advanced clinical training they study through writing, discussing, listening, and reflecting. The doctors will receive didactic presentations that complement their active pursuit of knowledge and enhanced competence.
An innovative use of educational technologies (text, video, audio, images, interactive elements) provides valuable opportunities for an enhanced, interactive, more inclusive and engaging learning environment. The use of multimedia in teaching this course provides opportunities to present multiple representations of content (text, video, audio, images, interactive elements) to cater more effectively to the different learning styles of the postgraduate students.
Relevant learning opportunities through clinical case presentations and discussions augment evaluation and management skills, documentation, and differential diagnosis.
